This action-packed tournament will bring together up to 16 teams from across the United States, including teams from California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, and Florida!

The San Diego Asian Soccer Cup has become a highly anticipated event, uniting players and fans from diverse backgrounds to celebrate Asian culture, sportsmanship, and the love of soccer. This year’s event promises two days of thrilling soccer action, cultural festivities, and community connection.
Tournament Divisions
This year’s competition will feature two exciting divisions:
- Men Open: The top athletes from across the country will compete for the title in this high-level division.
- Over 50: Athletes aged 50 and over will showcase their skills, proving that soccer is for players of all ages.

- Up to 16 Teams from California, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, and Florida.
- Intense competition across two competitive divisions: Men Open & Over 50.
- Family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of entertainment for all ages.
****Important Tournament Prize Information:
The prizes for the tournament are based on the number of teams enrolled in each division.
- Team Registration Fee: $500 per team.
- Maximum Teams Enrolled: 8 teams per division.
- Total Prizes: If all 8 teams are enrolled, the total prize pool will be $4000.
However, if fewer than 8 teams enroll, the prize pool will decrease accordingly. Make sure to get your team registered and join the competition for a chance to win!

Laws of the Game
- All games shall be played in accordance with the laws of the game observed by The International Football Association.
- No sliding tackle allow
Teams and Player Registration
- Teams and players must be registered and check-in with the Tournament Committee on the prescribed dated and time.
- Teams which withdraw their application after DATE shall forfeit their entry fee.
- Teams must be registered their roster before their first game is played.
- Teams may register and dress 26 players for open division, 30 players for over 50 division.
- A player wristband will be provided, and duty authorized by the tournament registrar.
- All players must be 18 of age or older.
- Over 50 Division players must be born on 1975 or before.
- Teams deposit will be $500 for registration fee,
- Teams Cancelled or Forfeit their spot shall loss the deposit fee.
- All team require to have at least TWO set of Uniforms.
Number and Duration of Games
- Each team will play minimum of 3 games (Open Division), minimum of 2 games (Over50 Division).
- Open Division games shall be 80 minutes game time and 10 minutes break in between half.
- Over 50 Division games shall be 70 minutes game time and 10 minutes break in between half.
Determination of Group Winners
- Each team will be awarded:
- 3 points for a win
- 1 point for a tie
- 0 point for a loss
- At the end of the preliminary round, the group winner shall be the team with the most points. If teams are tied on points, the following criteria shall be used to determine the winner:
- Goal differential (goals for minus goals against)
- Goals for
- Head-to-Head competition winner
- Yellow/Red cards shown
Extra time rules
- In the event of a tied playoff game (quarter-final, semi-final, or final rounds), the following procedure will be followed to determine the winner:
- Penalty kicks as per FIFA (five kicks per team)
- If still tied, alternating penalty kicks by the balance of the team until an outcome is decided
Substitutions
- There is no limit to the number of substitutions during a game, but a substitution can only be made during stoppage in play, and only at the referee’s discretion
- When a goal is scored
- At a goal kick
- At the beginning of the first, or second half
- For an injured player at the referee’s discretion
- At a corner kick, free kick, or throw-in
Game sheets and referee’s reports
- All game sheets and reports must be returned to Tournament Headquarters, by the field Conveners or match referee
- Game sheets must be signed by the referee and Captains from each team
- If a player or team officials from the field by the referee for misconduct, or any player or team official is cautioned by the referee during the course of the game, it is essential the referee’s report and games sheet be submitted to the Tournament Headquarters
- If a player or team officials was shown a RED CARD, the player or team official shall be suspense for the next game.
- If a player or team officials was shown a RED CARD under misconduct, (disciplinary action, fighting, threats or acts of violence) shall be termination from the tournament.
Abandoned/Forfeited Games
- The Tournament Committee will review the circumstances of any team that abandons (Quits) a game before it is completed and decides whether or not the team shall forfeit The game.
- At the discretion of the Tournament Committee, teams that abandoned a game, fail to Show, or otherwise forfeit a game will be subject to a dismissal from the tournament and All entry fees and bonds forfeited without appeal. Furthermore, such action will be Reported to the governing body of the team involved.
- All opponents of a team who have forfeited a game will be awarded a win and three
Points in preliminary standings (score recorded as 2-0).
